In Loving Memory

It is with great profound sadness that we share the passing of Robert Paul Calzini. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Bob died suddenly on January 15, at Lahey Hospital surrounded by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Rebecca, his two sons Thomas and William, his mother Joyce, his brothers Steven and Tom, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Bob was born in Natick on December 11, 1972. He grew up in Wellesley and graduated from Wellesley High School in 1991. He then went on to graduate cum laude from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business in 1996. In May of 1997 he married his best friend, Rebecca. After working in the public accounting industry, Bob opened his own CPA firm in Leominster in 2014. Bob was always there for his friends and family. He was actively involved in his children’s lives and impacted countless youth in Billerica. He coached soccer and baseball for both Thomas and William. He would go on to coach for Billerica Little League for many years, with championship teams in multiple seasons with his youngest son, William. He was also an avid outdoorsman. Bob loved fishing, camping, and hunting. He shared his love and knowledge of the outdoors with Pack 54 and Troop 11, for over a decade. He mentored many Eagle Scouts, including his oldest son, Thomas. He enjoyed going out with friends. When at home Bob enjoyed cooking, making sauce, and enjoying a home cooked meal with friends and family. When not at home he enjoyed spending time around the campfire, tailgating and sharing his Patriots season tickets. You would never find a kinder, more helpful friend, a better mentor, husband, or Dad. His loss is immeasurable.
